Two kinds, and only one of them needs your permission. Nothing analytics related loads until you say yes, and you can change your mind on this page at any time.
You have not chosen yet, so nothing beyond the strictly necessary is running.
One cookie, cookie-consent, which remembers whether you said yes or no so I do not ask on every page. It lasts six months and contains nothing else. This one does not need permission, because without it the site cannot honour your answer.
If you accept, Google Analytics loads through Google Tag Manager and sets its usual _ga cookies. They tell me which pages are read, roughly where in the world you are, what sort of device you are on, and which links get used. They do not tell me who you are, and I do not try to find out. They last up to two years.
If you turn analytics down, the tag is never loaded and any Google cookies from a previous visit are deleted.
No advertising, no tracking pixels, no sharing with anyone for marketing. Vercel, which hosts the site, keeps short lived server logs as part of running it, and Vercel Speed Insights measures how quickly pages load without setting a cookie.
Every browser lets you block or delete cookies in its settings. Nothing here needs them to work, so blocking them costs you nothing.
The privacy page covers what happens to anything you send me through the contact form.
